We returned to the bistro for breakfast and view of the sea through sun shine and hail showers before cycling out to Trwyn Du, the eastern tip of Anglesey that looks out to Puffin Island
The lighthouse bell chimed in a timeless cycle and the tea shop supplied good coffee and cake!
We met Anthony Garratt, a Bristol based artist who has started the first of four commissioned paintings to be placed in wild spots around Anglesey. Each work will be exposed to the elements until October 2015. He assured us that the half-tonne steel easel will be up to the job.
Anthony seems to enjoy portraying the harsh impact of weather on the British landscape, I wonder if our faces would make a good subject for him in the coming weeks!
