Llanddowror

9/3/15
Waterproofs went on as we waved goodbye to Kidwelly B&B and they stayed on all day, this was a truly Welsh day!

The drone of the wind through the telephone wires gave us a sense of it's strength but luckily we were headed North to Carmarthen with a tail wind. The lack of tea shop resulted in a last resort bacon roll and mug of tea at a van just outside of town.

We shared the B&B with a team of archeologists and had a 4 course banquet: lobster bisque, pate and salad, creamed mushrooms, chicken curry and chips, not to mention copious quantities of bread.

Figures:
Distance:- 48km
Cycle Time:- 4 hours 27 minutes
Average speed:- 10.9kph
Height Gain:- 870m
